What happens in case of breakdown?
If the breakdown is our responsibility, The Mad Road Trip team will do the necessary to repair the vehicle or, in the worst case, make a refund.
Can we park anywhere?
Yes, you can park your Camper Van anywhere. The company MadRoadTrip have authorization to park the vehicles anywhere in the island. We also give you some recommendations for the best spots to spend the night all over the island.
How much security deposit do i need to rent a Camper Van?
The security deposit to rent a Camper Van is 2000€, this amount remains as a guarantee in case of responsible accident.
If you have the chance to pay less if you choose another of our Insurances options, Orange or Green.
How many people can sleep inside the Camper Van?
Up to 4 adults can sleep comfortably inside the Camper Van, or 2 adults plus 3 children.
Does the Camper Van have bathroom inside?
The Camper Van doesn’t come with interior bathroom, but you have the option to rent a WC Chimique Kit. You will easily find many public bathrooms all over the island.
Drivers Minimum Age?
Driver must be over 25 years old and have a minimum of 3 years driving licence.
Can we drive with a driving license from another country?
Yes, in general every driving licenses from the United States and all European Union countries are covered.
Deliveries And Collections
If you paid for the airport delivery/pickup we will be waiting for you at Madeira Airport, if not the deliveries/pickup will be made at Machico. We will let you know everything you need to know at the moment of delivery.
